Yes, here's a new topic. I just finished "Ben Franklin" and finishing "The Archer." A new series for me. I finished a book about the horrible story of the murder of Emmett Till. So very sad. Finished a few weeks ago "Ready Player One." I'm looking forward to the movie.

good to see something new here to maybe revive this (and ASP) dead place. Over at a pipe forum and maybe PipesMagazine forum, same thread.

After finish here, post at ASP, feed the Ed, finish reading the paper & after taking care of wife's small needs, go to smoking room, light up something & finish the newspapers, then catch up on Pipes&Tobbacos magazine. (Dropped Cigar Afficianado (s)awhile back as stories about "executive level" clothes, shoes etc just not me.

Hope some others contribute to this thread.

Re-reading two old favourites: Jared Diamond's "Guns Germs and Steel",
and Gorman's "American Gods".

Both highly recommended!

if I get trashed for "reading choice", so be it. Finished a Gurkha 5.5x42 as company on my 2-miles power walk earlier. After this, feed the Ed then finish reading the daily papers. If time, start latest NASPC.

I just finished Total Competition - Lessons in Strategy from Formula One. Its by Ross Braun and Adam Parr and a really good read if you are into F1.

Now having just spent spring break in Yosemite Valley, I'm looking for a good book on Teddy Roosevelt. I know bits and pieces about the man but I've never really read anything comprehensive.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Just started "The Complete How To Kazoo" (https://www.amazon.com/Complete-How-Kazoo-Barbara-Stewart/dp/0761142215) by Barbra Stewert (http://www.kazooamerica.org/about.html) So far it is both riveting and stimulating and I look forward to finishing it so I can perform with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC for President Trump and his family..
